Yes its a basic story but the acting contrary to the other reviewers was pretty good especially from JR Bourne who I immediately remember played Martuf in Stargate Atlantis and the female lead was also very competent (Kinda reminded me a bit of Ripley) and probably the strongest character in the whole story.
Yes it will pass a night, its not Citizen Kane nor does it pretend to be.
Competent and worth a watch compared to some of the drivel I have seen lately.
