The Universal Pictures logo is the 1970s version, from the era when the "House With a Clock in its Walls" story was first published (1973). It also runs backwards, in keeping with the titular clock's magical power.

The closing credits sequence are filled with with characters and objects from the film, in the artwork of Edward Gorey (a Goth artist who collaborated on John Bellairs novels).

At the end of the closing credits, the film's cast wave goodbye.

During the animated main-on-end credits roll, the chair chases the griffin topiary with a chainsaw. Then a statement appears: "No chairs or topiary griffins were harmed in the making of this film."
