Goofs

At various times throughout the first two seasons, some walkers were seen by the characters to remember items and places important to them. In addition, some walkers could think enough to use tools (such as a rock to break glass), know that turning knobs can open doors, and were agile enough to climb high fences. Subsequent seasons, the characters behave as if they have complete amnesia of such significant experiences with the walkers. See more »

Shane Walsh: As good a place as any.
Rick Grimes: At least have the balls to call this what it is: murder. You really believe if you walk back onto that farm alone, no me, no Randall...
Shane Walsh: Why don't you hush up?
Rick Grimes: You really believe they're gonna buy whatever bullshit story you cook up?
Shane Walsh: That's just it, it ain't no story. I saw that prisoner shoot you down. I ran after him, I snapped his neck. It ain't gonna be easy, but Lori and Carl, they'll get over you. They done it before. They just ...

Getting through season 7 was a nightmare!
21 April 2017 | by ednkSee all my reviews

I was such a fan of this series. Season 1 with the opening scene from Rick in the hospital and meeting the first zombie. Epic TV!

But like all good shows, the fun get's out of it pretty soon. It was like in season 3 that the boring and dreadful story telling became more and more visible. Getting through season 7 was really tiresome. I actually gave it up almost.

I didn't read the comics or the books, so I can't tell you if the series is portrayed very close to the original. But I can say that the endless dreading of certain plots feels like the episodes of Lost (older series).

Also the characters have evolved in a not so good way. In season 7 it feels like everybody is reading his script from a board standing next to the camera. And the endless, endless talking of the character Negan. Don't get me started on that failure. Always trying to make tension and telling who cruel he will be, but almost never anything happens. Disregarding some scenes with killing of characters.

I'm sorry, I think I'm off the show now. I'll watch the trailer for season 8 and maybe look into the first episode, but then it has to change it's pace and better story telling.

Last, but not least, another series going down the drain after a couple of seasons. Too bad (again).
